Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), named after philosopher Al-Farabi, was established in 1934 to provide medical education. It is the oldest classical university in Kazakhstan, founded by a decree on November 13, 1933. Renamed in 1991 after Kazakhstan’s independence, KazNU offers international-standard education with a strong focus on both theory and practical training. Its numerous advantages attract many Indian students annually, enhancing their medical skills.

Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission.
Academic Qualifications: Completion of higher secondary education (12th grade) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.

Reserved Category: 40%
Entrance Examination: Candidates must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
