To appear for NEET 2025, candidates must meet specific age, educational, and nationality

Nationality:

Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry,
Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
Open school or private candidates can also apply (subject to verification by NMC).
Candidates appearing for Class 12 board exams in 2025 are eligible for NEET.

Minimum marks required in Class 12 (PCB Group) to be eligible:

Marks are calculated based on the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology only.

No attempt limit: Candidates can take the NEET exam multiple times until they
meet the age and educational requirements.
Previously, there was a 3-attempt limit, but it was removed in 2018.

For B.Sc. Nursing admissions, some institutions accept NEET scores. The eligibility criteria vary:
